Emerging UK-based Nigerian female rapper/vocalist and Warri-native HILZ makes her debut on the Nigerian music scene with a strong message of hope on her brand new single titled “I Believe”. Produced by Charlz and featuring Meissa on vocals, “I Believe” carries a delicate but yet very apt message about optimism and faith in the face of despair.
Over the drums-led musical backdrop, Hilz superbly speaks for the everyday Nigerian and our quest to make our lives better through her though-provoking and hard hitting lyrics with Meissa beautifully singing for a better tomorrow and what both artists believe in - equality, hope and unity.
Thanks to Bonza who is at the directorial helm, the “I Believe” music video is a cleverly-crafted visual representation of the single as it excellently portrays the delicate message that Hilz and Meissa are aiming to convey on the lyrics and music of “I Believe” without ever coming across as tacky or “preachy” video.
