Man arrested by police over racist tweet.

A 22 year old man from Essex has been arrested  in connection with launching a virtual racist tirade via popular networking site Tweeter.
The attack was aimed at West Ham striker Carlton Cole following their disastrous 3-0 deafeat in Swansea over the weekend.

In keeping up with the usual smart remarks most from Essex are notorious for,  the arrested man wrote:
‘3-0?  3 f****** nil?? Get the f*** away from my club  u f****** useless n***** c***’.'
Cole's followers were quick to denounce the foul mouthed comments. The 28 year old Cole posted the tweet on his account later writing:
'Whether I am crap or had a bad game has nothing to with my race, creed or religion. lets just keep it FOOTBALL. Kapeesh?'
Essex police who made the swift arrest were quick to show how effective they were by also tweeting:
Information on racist tweets passed to officer. Essex Police is investigating. Thanks to all who have brought this to our attention.'
This is not the first time Cole has been subject to racist abuse. Back in 2009 he was the object of racist affection at Upton Park when Millwall fans chanted monkey sounds during the Carling Cup.

Generator Fume kills 3 in Jigawa state

From PM News

Three friends were found dead Friday in a room in the Ringim Local government Area of Jigawa state. There was suspicion that they inhaled generator fume while asleep.
The dead friends were identified as Ali Tajo, Mustapha Murtala and Nasiru Shehu . They all lived in a house, belonging to one of the sons of the Emir of Ringim, Alhaji Mahmoud Sayyadi.
Malam Magaji Tambura, a bricklayer working at the house, said he came to the scene at about 7 a.m. to pick tools that he had used to work the previous day.
He said that when he knocked on the door, there was no response, making neighbours to force the door open to see the dead bodies of the three friends.
“My friend and I were at Syadi’s house to take our working tools but on getting there, we met the door locked which is unusual at that hour.
“We met three of them lying down with their faces down and their mouth foaming and I immediately called their names but none of them responded,” he said.
A resident of the area who gave his name as Ahmed Danlami, expressed shock over the tragedy that had befallen the town.
There was controversy on the cause of death. While one resident suspected inhalation of generator fume overnight, another resident, Adamu Saleh, speculated that the dead young men must have abused drugs before they went to bed, saying that they were suspected to be drug addicts.

Boko Haram threatens media, denies peace talks

Boko Haram sect has refuted stories that its representatives are holding peace talks with the government and threatened to strike media houses it said fight the group “with the pen”.
The Nigerian media and at least two foreign news organizations have reported that talks are going on between the government and the militants who have been staging an insurgency against it, citing unnamed sources.
Information minister Labaran Maku declined comment last week Wednesday on the talks, citing government instructions not to discuss the issue. But on Friday, he issued a statement acknowledging that some kind of talks were going on.
“We are telling the government to understand that if it is not ready to embrace sharia (Islamic law) and the Koran as the guiding book from which the laws of the land derive, there shall be no peace,” the sect’s spokesman Abu Qaqa said today in a written statement in the northeast city of Maiduguri, the heart of the rebellion.

How T.B Joshua delivered Tonto Dikeh from smoking

Tonto Dikeh was a chain smoker and we all know that. In May, Tonto Dikeh revealed on twitter that she's quit smoking 'I QUIT SMOKING**#Puppyface#'.

Quitting can be extremely challenging, the controversial actress revealed in a recent interview how she finally kicked the habits thanks to Pastor T.B Joshua.
According to Tonto Dikeh

"I didn't quit smoking by myself. I was watching a program on TV with Prophet T.B. Joshua and he was laying hands on people and praying for them. I love to watch his programs on Emmanuel TV. When he was praying, he said, 'Lay your hands on the TV' and I just laid my hands that day. I actually needed something else from God, not to quit smoking because I loved smoking! However, after praying I sat back and I think I slept off."

"When I woke up, I took a stick of cigarette and I felt crazy. I couldn't even imagine that I took it up to smoke in the first place. It felt like poison!"
